- On-Device Retouch: This utilizes the Retouch4me plugins installed directly on your computer (like Heal, Skin Tone, or Dodge & Burn). It’s fast and uses your own hardware.
- Cloud Retouch: This sends the image to Retouch4me’s servers to process. This is ideal for using specialized tools you might not have installed locally, such as Fabric or Clean Backdrop.

1. Prepare Your Action Set
Open Photoshop and go to Window > Actions. Click the folder icon to create a new set (name it “AI Workflows”) and then click the “Plus” icon to create a new action named “Master One-Click Retouch.” Photoshop is now recording your steps.
2. Create a Safety Layer
Always start by duplicating your background layer (Cmd/Ctrl + J). This ensures your retouching is non-destructive, allowing you to mask out or lower the opacity of the AI’s work later if needed.
